  • Women's Journey to Bethany Church

    Join us as we laugh our way through Rudy Galdonik's testimony.  She used humor to get through hard times, and shares her story with us. Hailed as the Erma Bombeck for the 21st Century she was a favorite speaker the last 2 years in a row.  On March 12 we will meet at Hannafords in Hampstead @ approx 5:00 and carpool to Greenfield, NH, returning home at approx 8:30.  A homemade meal (complete with yummy dessert) is served at 6PM for $7.00. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME.  This is a kid friendly event for girls and women.
  • DivorceCare

    A new 12 week seminar/support group will be starting on Tues. Feb 28 and running through May 15.  We meet at 6:30 pm at The Rock.  Anyone is welcome to attend, so if you are hurting and struggling from separation or divorce, or know someone who is.....please come and find the understanding, support, and healing you need from people who understand how you feel.

  • Women's Chocolate Brunch - February 25th

    All women are welcome to join us for the Women's Ministry Annual Chocolate Brunch on Saturday, February 25th from 9 am until noon at the Rock in Plaistow.  Shellie Aseltine will speak on Love Overflowing and bless us with wonderul worship music.  'The Love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit' Romans 5:5.

    There will be a free will offering:  suggested donation $5.  For more information contact Dolores Sargent.

    There will be a sales area to support your Church Lady Entrepreneurs. A separate room to visit these crafters will be available.

  • Mission to the City: President's Day, Monday February 20th

    We have the opportunity to make and serve breakfast and bag lunches to the homeless and needy between 8:00 and  10:30 AM, in Haverhill, MA.  This is the only meal many will have until dinner time at the shelter.   Please contact Sue Quaranta  at sbquaranta@comcast.netor 603 887-5719  if you’d like to serve. Kitchen space is limited.
  • Hospitality Training

    On Sunday, March 18th we will be offering a training workshop for all those who are involved in, or wish to become involved in, the Hospitality Ministry at Rock Church Ministries.  We encourage all those who wish to serve as an usher, greeter, coffee host, parking attendant or welcome desk attendant to participate. We will have a light lunch beginning at 12:30 p.m. and then we’ll take some time to discuss our vision for this ministry, the importance of hospitality in our church, procedures/processes related to our building and practical tips to help connect to our guests.

  • Instrumentalist Auditions

    The Rock Music Ministry is Seeking Passionate Worshippers to join us in our Calling of Offering God-Glorified, Christ-Centered,& Spirit-Saturated Worship as a Sacrifice of Praise! (Romans 12:1-2; 11-12).  We will be holding Instrumental Auditions on SATURDAY MARCH 3, 9AM-12PM, The Rock Sanctuary in Plaistow.  Please contact Minister of Music, Shellie Aseltine (shellieaseltine@gmail.com or 603-244-8187) by Sunday February 26 with any questions and/or to receive an   application form & schedule an audition time.

    This special concert will feature will feature our own First Monday Band, Rich Gaudreau and Friends, and Pneuma.
    In addition there will be Arts & Crafts, a Movie for the kids, Food and a Bake Sale!!
    This is a whole family event.  The nursery will be available for children ages 5 & under.

  • Casting Crowns Fans

    If you liked them at Soulfest, you'll LOVE them at Lowell Memorial Auditorium!  This premier Christian band is performing locally and we have 20 seats available.  The date is March 15, 2012 @ 7 p.m. and tickets are $28.50/each.  This is a family friendly event.  To reserve your tickets or for more information contact Jim Connors @ 300-0985 or Sandy Silveira @ 382-3204.  Deadline for ticket sales is February 15th, so make sure you reserve yours early.  Carpooling will be arranged.
  • Men's Fraternity - The Second Half

    The second half of Men's Fraternity begins Monday, January 30th at The Rock~ Plaistow at 7 p.m.  The first half dealt with looking within.  The next half is all about vision and looking forward.  It is open to all men and runs for 13 weeks.  Teenage boys are invited to attend with their dads.  For more information email men@rock-church.org.

  • Kidstuff Volunteers Needed at the Rock-Plaistow!

    In anticipation of the Rock opening the classrooms upstairs we are look for teachers, co-teachers, and assistants.   Can you commit to a minimum of every other week during the school year?
