Adult Retreat

This year's Adult Retreat will be held on March 9th and 10th at the Comfort Inn in Portsmouth NH.  The overnight lodging will be in the same hotel, but we have secured a nearby church for our worship and study time so we can open the event up to more folks.  There will still be a limit based on the number of rooms available, but we will be able to open it to a larger group.  The cost for this event is $79 per person based on double occupancy and includes hotel, meeting rooms, breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday. Help Rebuild Word of Life Church in Bastrop, TX

In September of 2011, there was a horrific forest fire in the area around Bastrop, TX. Millions of dollars worth of property and thousands of acres were destroyed. Among the victims of the fire was the Word of Life Community Church, which sat in the woods about 4 miles east of Bastrop. Located immediately beside the church was the home of Pastors Mike and Debbie Vega, whose house was also destroyed. Although the Vegas were blessed with no serious injuries to their family or their congregation, they saw much of their life's work literally go up in smoke.

Men's Church Softball League

Even though Spring is still a long way away, we are already beginning to think about our church’s men’s league Softball team.  The Saints, our church softball team, started nearly 10 years ago when we were a much smaller church.  In the first few years, we sometimes struggled to field a team.  But over the last few years, we have actually had more people interested in playing than we had spots on the roster.
