Three positive steps to take for a successful
marriage.
1. Be honest with your wife
and invest all your energies in building intimacy with her.
2. Have an accountability
partner and be in a men's small group.
3. Study scripture. |

What does the men's ministry
offer? |
Monday Men's group
/ First
Monday
This great group is open to all men. We discuss everyday problems
and situations that men face everyday. We seek to find the answers
through a biblical perspective.
We are finishing our third successful year of the First
Monday celebration. The 'First Monday' of every
month is a "Mini-PK" where there is music by the popular
'First Monday Band' (no name yet), excellent speakers and plenty
of worship. Contact Don Kowaleski for more information. All men
are invitied and more than welcome to join us every first monday.
See the Newsletter for dates and
times.
The First Monday Band
Promise Keepers
St. Matthews men have been actively involved in the Promise
Keepers movement. This national ministry encourages men to be
supportive husbands, loving fathers, and faithful followers of
Jesus Christ by sponsoring workshops, training events, and large
stadium celebrations.

Men's prayer breakfast
On the third Friday of each month, any men of the church and
community are invited to gather for a hot breakfast at 6:30 AM.
After breakfast, Pastor Steve will share some words of encouragement
for men attempting to live faithful lives in our secular world,
followed by a time of prayer. We finish up promptly at 7:30 AM.
At the Rockingham Church the Men's prayer breakfast is the
first Friday of every month at 6:30 a.m. at Caseys Restaurant
(across from Walmart and Home Depot), Route 125, Plaistow.
