Who Is Alpha For?
Alpha is for everyone! It's especially geared to:
o People interested in investigating Christianity.
o Newcomers to the church.
o New Christians.
o Couples preparing for marriage.
o Christians searching for a deeper faith.
What Happens At Alpha?
There are a series of videos tapes on topics such as:
o Who is Jesus?
o Why did Jesus die?
o Why and how should I read the bible?
o Why and how do I pray?
o What about the Holy Spirit?
o How can I overcome evil?
o Why and how should I tell others?
o Does God heal today?
o What about the church?
Alpha is a ten week course starting after the Introductory
and Celebration dinner. The course is one evening a week, on
Wednesday, starting at 6:30 pm with a light dinner, then a short
teaching video followed by small group discussion. Each session
should end by 9:00 pm. |
